Harmonic are thrilled to be partnering exclusively with a Digital Media Scale up to aid their search for a dynamic Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their rapidly growing team in their New York office.
This agency is a company based in New York, NY that covers lifestyle, women’s health, and fashion content. They aim to enhance brand visibility by utilizing cutting-edge AI technology, harnessing data-driven insights and predictive analytics to create tailored marketing strategies that establish new benchmarks in the industry.
The Role
As the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will be instrumental in delivering the financial guidance necessary for driving ambitious growth and ongoing innovation. This is a distinctive opportunity to blend financial expertise with a progressive approach to marketing. As the business scales, the VP of FP&A will be tasked with building out a wider FP&A function.
- Conduct strategic analysis and manage annual budgeting processes.
- Provide business partnership and decision-making support across the organization.
- Assist divisional teams with project planning, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
- Start as an individual contributor, establishing processes and beginning to build a team.
- Oversee the financial components of client contracts and projects, ensuring compliance with financial terms and accurate management of billing and revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that align with the agency’s growth and innovation objectives, particularly through the use of AI technology and data analytics.
- Assist the Group CFO with long-term strategic planning and the creation of Board reports.
- Engage in extensive ad-hoc projects alongside the leadership team.
- Partner with the IT department to implement and enhance financial systems and tools, including AI-driven analytics and reporting platforms.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or another related field.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong Technical skills
- Excellent Communicator
- Positive attitude
- Ambitious and Passionate about media/marketing and advertising
Non-essential Experience (Bonus skills)
- Experience with Influencer marketing and/or creative industries
- CPA or CFA
- Excel certification
Location: Open to Remote
Salary: $225,000 - $275,000
